Ride the San Juan, a poem by Janet Wilcox, is the grand prize winner in the San Juan County Public Lands Story Contest.
Jared Ward, a eighth grade student at Albert R. Lyman Middle School in Blanding, made a three-peat as top speller after a competitive 26 rounds in the Region Spelling Bee.
Having the determination to finish their project was the ultimate goal for Monument Valley High School students Nolten Bowsley, Colin Crank, Ethan Black and Clement Holiday.
