Members of the Monticello High School Drama department rode the firetruck into town in the early hours of March 29. The Buckaroos won the 1A state drama competition in a dominating (and dramatic) fashion, winning the overall sweepstakes, best one act play, best ensemble class, as well as earning seven medals in events.
