Spring in beautiful San Juan County

This photo was taken on the White Rim Trail in Canyonlands National Park. The lighter rock of the White Rim is in the foreground; the three thousand foot red rock buttes are seen several miles across the valley, and then the massive snow covered peaks of the LaSal Mountains rise majestically on the horizon. The whole amazing vista is overlaid with whipped cream clouds and deep blue sky. Just one of thousands of magnificent vistas in the Canyon Country of San Juan. Buckley Jensen photo
