Head Coach Jens Nielson: “Remy is a joy to be around. He was part of our Energy Duo with Brandt Bingham. Remy is always up for a good time, he’s a very loud vocal leader, and he just finds joy in whatever he does.
“Rem was a little hesitant with baseball because he had an injured shoulder on his throwing arm and he wasn’t sure how effective he would be. We are very glad he played. He worked hard to be a good baseball player and he had a great senior season. He was challenged to become a gap hitter and drive in runs. He worked hard on his swing and plate approach and did an exceptional job of doing what was asked as he led our team in doubles.
“Remy had a great postseason where he saw the ball really well at the plate and challenged some tough pitchers into pitching eight-plus pitches in multiple at-bats. Remy was definitely a hype guy and the team looked to him for energy. You will definitely be missed, Remy. Good luck at Carroll College. You will do great things there.”
