Monument Valley 2024 Cross Country Team

The 2024 Monument Valley High School Cross Country team took six boys to the Region 19 Championship at Huntington State Park on October 23. They earned a third-place team result with Josiah Gipe leading the way in seventh place overall. Talon Brooks and Riley Stanley finished together in 11th and 12th, Akecheta Shortman took 15th, Jake Deswood was 17th, and Alexander Hicks crossed the line 24th. The Cougars competed in the 2024 Utah State Championships on Tuesday, October 29 at Sugar House Park in Salt Lake City, too late for the San Juan Record press deadline.
