Lady Broncos conclude 2025 golf season at 2A state tournament

The San Juan High School girls golf team shot a team score of 493 to finish with a 205-over par in 12th place at the 2025 2A Utah Girls Golf Championship at the Ridge Golf Course in Salt Lake City May 14.
Ohla Krukovska shot her best round of the year with a 115, closing out the day with a 43-over-par in a tie for 42nd place overall.
Katy Russell also bested her previous scores during the season with a 125 in the state tournament, coming home in 58th place for the Lady Broncos.
Zaya Olsen carded a 126 to finish just behind Russell in a tie for 59th place. And Jordan Jones hit a 127 in her final match of the season, finishing in a tie for 62nd place.
Marley Decker came home tied for the 65th spot for San Juan with her round of 130. And Brooklyn Pincock rounded out the scoring for the Lady Broncos with a 133, tied for 68th place overall.
The girls were fifth in the Region 15 standings this season behind Grand County, North Summit, North Sevier, and Gunnison Valley. They were 14th in the Utah 2A standings with an adjusted average score of 519.7 strokes per round.
Krukovska led the team with a per-round average of 130.6 strokes. Jones was second with a 131.0, Decker was third with a 133.3, and Olsen averaged 137.4 strokes in fourth.
Pincock was fifth for the Lady Broncos with a season average of 137.5 strokes per round. Russell averaged 139.2 strokes in sixth, and Amelia Sopena shot 144.8 per round in seventh.
Oaysis Nielson hit an average of 145.3 strokes in eighth place, Jessica Black 146.5 in ninth, Sariah Sweetin 147.0 in tenth, Evelyn Knight 152.0 in 11th, and Rose Kartchner 157.8 in 12th.
