Bucks fall to Duchesne

Monticello Buckaroo football fell to the new number one team in 1A, the Duchesne Eagles, on Friday, September 17 by a final score of 55-6.

Monticello’s lone touchdown was a perfectly-executed play and came against Duchesne’s varsity squad with 3:00 minutes to go in the second quarter. 

Monticello’s offensive line gave sophomore quarterback JD McDonald plenty of time to deliver a perfect pass to senior receiver Logan Draper across the middle as Draper ran 65 yards for the Buckaroo touchdown.

Monticello (1-5) hosts Whitehorse (0-1) on Wednesday, September 22. The game will be broadcast on 92.7 FM and pictureitpalmer.com.
