Scott Frost

Scott Frost has lived in Monticello for re than 40 years and is an owner of Blue Mountain Meats. Frost has been in business for more than 30 years, both in Monticello and New Mexico.
With more than 40 employees in four states and managing a major budget for the business, Frost feels this gives him good financial experience to bring to the city council.
Frost thinks that the fiscal responsibility he exhibits in his business and his life are important attributes for a councilman.
He has been involved as a member of the Chamber of Commerce and on the Chamber Board of Directors.
Frost has served the past four years on the City Council and feels he has a good understanding of the workings of the City, both through council service and his time on the Planning Commission. 
Dedication is one of the areas he prides himself on, as he gives 100 percent to anything he volunteers for or works on.
As a councilman, Frost would like to bring “better communication between the council and the committees and volunteers.”
