School girl found dead near Montezuma Creek

The body of Christina Reyes, a 16-year-old student at Whitehorse High School, was found near Montezuma Creek on January 6.
The tenth grade student from Aneth was found near school district property on Thursday afternoon.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation is handling the investigation, which is ongoing at the press deadline on January 10. FBI spokesperson Debbie Dujanovic said, “The FBI is trying to determine just how this teenager died.”
Dujanovic adds that the cause of death is not yet known, but there were no immediate signs of foul play. The results of various tests, including toxicology tests, were expected to be received in the near future.
Both traditional and conventional grief counselors were available for students and faculty at the high school on January 7. Reyes has two siblings who are also enrolled at Whitehorse High School. The time and location of funeral services have not yet been set.
