Bears Ears Advisory Committee to meet

The Bureau of Land Management Monticello Field Office and U.S. Department of Agriculture Manti-La Sal National Forest will host a public meeting of the Bears Ears National Monument Advisory Committee on March 27, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mountain Time at the Hideout Community Center located at 648 South Hideout Way, Monticello, UT 84535. There will also be a virtual meeting attendance option. 
Planned agenda items include an overview of the planning efforts to-date; if applicable, discussion of management alternatives included in the draft Bears Ears National Monument Resource Management Plan and the ongoing draft plan public comment period; and general management and administrative updates. 
The Bears Ears National Monument Advisory Committee is a citizen-based committee consisting of 15 members representing interests in the local community and monument values.
The agenda and meeting access information (including how to log in and participate) will be announced on the Bears Ears National Monument Advisory Committee webpage at www.blm.gov/benm-mac 30 days in advance of the meeting. 
Public comments will be accepted at 1:15 p.m. MT. Depending on the number of people wishing to comment, the amount of time for individual comments may be limited.
