Polar Bear Archery Shoot Saturday

Arrows will fly at the third annual Angel Archers Polar Bear Shoot from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 29 at the Angel Archery Range on West 200 South (Abajo Dr.) just off the mountain road in Monticello. Sign is on the north side of road.
There will be score cards and instructions on how to score both the NFAA targets and (new this year) five Rinehart 3D foam animal targets, including a full size polar bear. These targets are easy to pull arrows from, even in cold weather.
Bring lots of arrows if there is snow. If you miss the target, you can always find your arrows after the snow melts. A suggested donation is $10 per shooter or $15 per family for non club members.
Join the club and shoot at the member price, which is $5 for club members (including family). Any donations will go to help pay for the targets.
There will be hot chocolate, chili, and a warm fire. This is a Polar Bear Shoot, so it will happen no matter the weather. For more information or directions, call Andy Peterson at 970-260-2475.
