Plane crashes shortly after take-off

While the plane was totaled and several watermelons were destroyed, no one was hurt when a small airplane crashed after takeoff from the Blanding Airport on October 10. The plane, which was headed to Salt Lake City on a cross-country flight, came down soon after takeoff with two passengers aboard. Staff photo
