Yolanda Marie Sanchez

Yolanda Marie Sanchez was born on April 27, 1953 in Cortez, CO to Emelio and Marie Sanchez.
She passed away on November 18, 2010 from complications associated with pneumonia.
Yolanda was a very spiritual person and loved the Bible. She had a strong faith and knew that despite the challenges of life, everything would be ok.
The fall season and the colors on the mountains were some of her favorite times.
She attended high school in Monticello and lived her entire adult life in the Monticello area. She was married for 20 years and had three children.
Yolanda lived for her grandchildren, and loved to send them cards and letters and provide surprises for them. She loved to cook
Yolanda is survived by son Leland (Tammy) Wegner, daughter LeeAnn Bailey, daughter Lynette (Chris) Tibbitts, brother Freddy (Renee) Sanchez, and twelve grandchildren, including Wallace Dillon, Michael Colton, Gage, and Jaden Bailey; Leia, Anna, Danny and Colton Wegner; Nadege, CJ, and Kristyn Tibbitts; and Tianna (Caleb) Frost.
Family services will be announced.
