Travis Edwin Taylor August 10, 1981 ~ November 28, 2025

Travis Edwin Taylor, age 44, of Monticello, Utah, passed away on Friday, November 28th 2025.
Born on August 10, 1981 in Monticello, Utah, Travis grew up in Monticello and graduated with the Monticello High School Class of 2000. He grew up on a cattle ranch and cherished his memories of working side-by-side with his Dad and Mom.
Travis attended San Juan Basin Technical College, where he studied automotive mechanics, then went on to Sage Truck Driving School as a step toward his lifelong love for driving trucks. Travis enjoyed owning his own truck, as well as working for Denison Mines, Crowley Construction, and Jones & DeMille Engineering before moving to Texas in 2022 where he drove for Rod Krist Trucking and hauling for the oil fields.
Travis was known for having a big heart and his love for the mountains. He valued family, and enjoyed hunting, gaming, and long talks with the people in his life.
He is survived by his parents, Edwin and Karen Taylor, his sister and brother-in-law Tabitha and Gary Williams and his sister Amanda, nieces and nephews: Jade, Jalysa, Kenai, Teagan and Rayston. He was preceded in death by his infant sister, paternal grandparents, Keith & Alberta Taylor, maternal grandparents, Arthur Adair and LaVeda & Carl Mahon.
Travis was a born-again Christian, had a love for his Lord, and is with Him now. Private services will be held by the family.
