Tiffany Lynn McBride

February 16, 1983 ~ January 9, 2015
Tiffany Lynn (Anderson) McBride, age 31, passed away peacefully at LDS Hospital with family and friends by her side on January 9, 2015.
After battling leukemia for eleven years, she left this earth reluctantly because she had so much left to do.
Tiffany was born on February 16, 1983. She was the first of two beautiful daughters born to Jeffrey Garn and Donna Faye (Gaines) Anderson. Her family’s love for her was unending from her first breath to her last.
She married her only love, Jacob Ammon McBride, on July 5, 2005 in Layton, UT. Her husband, Jake, fought valiantly by her side, and his love for her and commitment to her never wavered.
Together they had a precious daughter, Winter Dawn. Winter was the light of her mother’s life and brought her such love and joy. Tiffany will live on in Winter’s smile.
Tiffany spent her life in Utah growing up in Bluff, Blanding, Ogden, Cedar City, Layton and finally Clearfield. She graduated from Layton High School in 2001, where she made many lifelong friends.
Tiffany played the clarinet, as well as guitar in the jazz band and was in the school production of “Hello Dolly”. She was known for her friendly smile, kind heart and fighting spirit.
Tiffany spent most of her adult life as a self-described expert “leukemia fighter”.
She loved music, books, scrap booking and crafting. When asked what job she loved the most, she would tell you custom framing at Michaels because she got to see everyone’s wonderful art and photos.
Tiffany was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was grateful for the strength and support her church affiliation provided.
Tiffany’s favorite quote was inspiration for all, “Life is an occasion. Rise to it.”
Tiffany is survived by her husband, Jake McBride; daughter Winter McBride; parents Donna and Jeff Anderson; sister Heather (Troy) Perry; in-laws Jim and Lisa McBride; and grandparents Melvin and Betty Gaines and Andrew Garn Anderson.
She is preceded in death and was received in heaven by her Grandma “Honey”, DeEsta (Nielson) Anderson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 North Fairfield Road, Layton, UT. Friends may visit family from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the mortuary, and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Clearfield City Cemetery.
The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers and support they have provided during Tiffany’s long battle with leukemia.
