Stephen Edward Hazlewood

September 19, 1971 ~ August 23, 2009

Stephen Edward Hazlewood, was born September 19, 1971 to Jim and Bobbie Haslewood in Monticello, UT. He was the first of four children.

Stephen grew up in Monticello and graduated from Monticello High School. He excelled and enjoyed wrestling very much.

While working in Salt Lake City installing underground utility lines, he met Kimberly Beckstead.

They were married on September 18, 2004. They were later sealed in the Timpanogos Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on December 12, 2006. With their union was born Sky Kimberly Hazlewood.

Stephen last worked for a company drilling in the oil fields. His passion was drilling.

Stephen is survived by his wife Kimberly; daughter Sky; stepchildren Elizah Gifford and J.T. Gifford; parents Jim and Bobbie Hazlewood; sisters Deborah (Toby) Crittenden of Cumming, GA, and Tina (Adam) Waring of Pueblo, CO; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his baby sister, Danielle.

Stephen passed away August 23, 2009 in Lehi, UT. Graveside services were held August 27, 2009 and burial was at the Monticello Cemetery.
