Scott Alan Ruiz

Scott Alan Ruiz passed away peacefully at home. He was born on December 3, 1960 and died on April 3, 2010.
Scott cared for his mother, Lucille Wagner-Barnes, for more than 20 years.
After an accident on the Blue Mountains, became crippled, but pushed himself to be able to walk with a cane.
He married Christine Renee Tibbitts-Ruiz on July 3, 1981 in Michigan with two children Tracie Renee Tibbitts of Grand Junction, CO and Aaron Scott Ruiz of Zeeland, MI.
With a few years of separation and divorce, they re-married on June 15, 1999.
They shared a wonderful life and both of them cared for Lucille. After she passed February 9, 2009, they continued their life together in Monticello.
Scott was surrounded by so many friends and family that all loved and respected him.
Scott is survived by six grandchildren: Alexis, A.J., James, Tommy (deceased), Mackinzie, and Corbin; nephews Christopher (Kim) Polluck and Michael Mulvey; nieces Sarah (Josh) Abrams and Ashley Wilson; along with tons of cousins. He was a great friend to all.
Scott had no brothers, except for the closest friends he would call his brothers and the same with the sisters. He had two sisters, Deloris Ruiz of Grand Junction, CO, (Bob), Robin and Aylah Barber of Murray, UT.
He has been returned to his maker Jesus Christ. His request was to be cremated and spread on Peter’s Hill with his mother.
A memorial has been planned for Saturday the 24th of April. All who knew and loved him are welcome to join us in his good-bye.
