Richard C. Terry

Richard Clarke Terry, 82, of Salem, UT passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2010, at his home.
Rick was born on October 26, 1927 in Ogden, UT to Raymond and Stella Clarke Terry.
He married Joan Marie Williams on February 12, 1966.
He was raised in Ogden and Roy. He graduated from Weber County High School and received his Associates of Science degree from Weber State University.
He served in the US Navy in World War II and the Korean War. He served a mission to France for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He settled in Southern California, where he loved the beach, was active in his church theater company, and met his wife.
He later moved his family to Monticello, UT, where he was the City Administrator. When he retired, he and his wife settled in Salem.
He was active in the LDS Church and held many callings.
He loved his family and doted on his four grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Joan, of Salem; son Ronald Clark (Angela) of Payson; grandchildren Brooke, Phoebe, Chloe and Race; brother Robert; and sisters Carol, Janet, and Elaine.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Keith, John and Howard.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2010, at 11 a.m., at the Salem City Cemetery.
