Rebecca “Betty” Skinner

Rebecca “Betty” Skinner passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, November 23, 2013.
Betty was born December 5, 1925 to William Zemira and Rebecca Stevens Palmer.  She was the youngest of 11 children.  
On January 18, 1946 Betty was married to Glenn Skinner in the Mesa Arizona Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
All who knew her, knew her to be a humble, caring, and giving person who always put others before herself.  
She was an active member of the LDS Church throughout her life, serving in many capacities including three full time missions with her husband Glenn.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother and considered her family to be her most prized possession.  
Betty is preceeded in death by her husband Glenn; son Michael Glenn; and sons-in-law William Mitchell and John Shriver.
She is survived by son Larry Dean (Judy) Skinner, of Payson, UT; and daughters Jackie Lee (Blain) Bodell, of Salt Lake City, UT; Lenore Mitchell of Gallup, NM; Trina Shriver of Moab, UT; Calie Mae (Ken) Seiter of Blanding, UT; Glenda (Alma) Jones of Grand Junction, CO; and Andrea (Brett) Black of Blanding, UT; 27 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were December 2 at the Blanding LDS Stake Center.
