Rayleen Gutsche Burnett

October 11, 1961 ~ July 8, 2012
Our precious little sister, Rayleen, returned to her loving Heavenly Father on July 8, 2012, suddenly and unexpectedly.
Rayleen was born October 11, 1961 in Ogden, UT, seven months after her father was killed in an accident, so Rayleen was a life saver for our mother.
Growing up without her father was very hard on Rayleen.  When she was young, the family moved back and forth from Bluff to Ogden several times and then settled in Bluff where Mom and Dad lived.
Every summer, Rayleen enjoyed going to California to spend time with her sister, Donna and family.  Before Rayleen started high school, the family moved to Blanding, UT.
In January, 1977 at the tender age of 16, Rayleen married William Pasburg.  Her only child, son Theron, was born May 24, 1978.  Theron was and is the love of her life.  Rayleen moved around the U.S. and survived several hard marriages.  She came back to Blanding in 2009.  Due to health problems, she resided at Four Corners Care Center, but came home to sisters’ houses often.
Rayleen loved the simple things in life.  As she watched the fireworks on the 4th of July, she laughed with delight.  She loved to go for rides and see the fall colors.  The little simple things of life brought her much joy.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved the Gospel that her mother taught her with all of her heart.
Rayleen is survived by her son Theron (Tracy) Pasburg, two grandkids and two great-grandkids of Youngstown, OH; her only brother, Ronald (Carol) Burnett of Washington, and four sisters all of Blanding, Jennielean Nielson, Donna (Richard) Arthur, Sandra (Wayne) Asbury and Janis (Tom) Dyer.
A graveside service was held Saturday, July 14, 2012 at the Ogden City Cemetery, where Rayleen was laid to rest next to her father and mother.
Rayleen was a very special person and loved very much by her family.  She will be greatly missed.
