Patti Lynne Boyce Lyman September 22, 1950 ~ July 19, 2026

Patricia (often called Patti) Lyman, 75, of Highland, Utah, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2026, in American Fork, Utah.
She was surrounded by loved ones, including her husband, her three brothers, her eight children, and many of her grandchildren.
Patti was born on September 22, 1950, in Provo, Utah, to Derald Mecham Boyce and Bertie Ellen Holmes. She would spend much of her life moving between Utah and California.
In 1968, Patti met Robyn Vint Lyman at a church dance. They married in Reno, Nevada, in 1969. In 1973, they were sealed for time and all eternity in the Provo Utah Temple.
From childhood, Patti’s greatest ambition was to become a wife and mother.  Patti and Robyn had eight children together. Patti was never more alive than when she held a baby in her arms.
Her children brought great joy to her life. They kept her busy and taught her patience, forgiveness, and charity. Her love for children even motivated her to start and successfully run her own day care business. 
Patti loved to travel, as long as it didn’t involve planes or elevators. She enjoyed a good book and a good conversation. Patti possessed many admirable qualities.
She was understanding, humble, tolerant, gracious, kind, and a devoted follower of Christ. Her unwavering trust in God allowed her to endure life’s trials with grit and grace. She was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was an elect daughter of God.
She knew that her Father in Heaven loved her and that Jesus Christ was her Savior. She bore this testimony often and passed that faith on to her children. Her legacy of faith, love, and devotion will continue to bless her posterity for generations to come.
Patti is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Robyn Lyman; her brothers: David (Shauna) Boyce of Folsom, CA; Craig (Jan) Boyce of El dorado Hills, CA; and Kevin (Julie) Boyce of Rocklin, CA; and her eight children: Ellen (Anthony) Gallegos of Midvale, UT; Tricia (Jay) Shular of Magna, UT; Christopher (Delani Taylor) Lyman of Herriman, UT; Nycole (Bryce) Westcott of Highland, UT; Amanda (Jeremy) Salvatierra of Orangevale, CA; Natasha (Sean) Blair of American Fork, UT; Chad (Leah) Lyman of San Antonio, TX; and Cameron Lyman of American Fork, UT.
She also leaves behind 29 beloved grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, with two more expected; 31 nieces and nephews; and her sweet dog, Khloe.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 1 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel located at 347 N. 200 W. in Monticello, UT.
The viewing will begin at 3:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 4:00 p.m. Interment will take place at 5:30 p.m. at the Monticello City Cemetery.
