Patrick Weldon Jones

Patrick Weldon Jones, born January 9, 1947 to Wendell P. and Phyllis Jones in Moab, UT, passed away in Tooele, UT on August 13, 2012.
Patrick was a loving son, brother, uncle, father, grandfather, husband and friend. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife Marianne; mother Phyllis; children: Cindy, Wendell (Christy), Marcia (Ky), and Adesa; stepchildren Alvin (Audrey), Barbara (Scott), Mike (Ludene), Danny (Leatha), Sabrina (Ron), Doug (Kathryn), Steve (Christi); siblings Dale (Mary), Wendy (Butch), Georga, Taunya, Kumen (Janice), Jeff (Tracy), Susan, Rachelle, Blake (Deb), Terri (Kevin), Clyde (Jennifer), Robby; many extended family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by father, brother Drew, wife Pete (mother of Wendell and Marcia); and two grandchildren, Keith and Amanda.
Patrick was a high school state camp wrestler, horse breaker, rancher, pilot, miner, master mechanic, welder, heavy equipment operator and jack-of-all trades. He spent many years in Wyoming working at General Chemical, where he retired in 2003.
He was very out spoken and said what was on his mind. He was willing to help anybody, even a complete stranger, and had a great sense of humor. He also liked gathering the family around; even collecting strays that needed a family.
Services were held at the LDS Ward in Tooele, UT on Thursday, August 16. Interment in the Lyman Cemetery in Lyman, WY.
