Noah (Glen) Jackson

March 15, 1952 ~ December 9, 2018
Noah (Glen) Jackson, former resident of Monticello, passed peacefully and quietly in his home in Stansbury Park, UT surrounded by family on Dec. 9, 2018. He had bravely confronted and fought lung cancer.
Glen was born March 15, 1952 in Shamrock, TX to Jewell and Noah Jackson and in 1955 relocated to Ucolo RT in Monticello.
He attended  elementary and high school in Monticello and moved to Garden Grove, CA in 1971 where he met his life companion and soul mate, De (Sauer) Jackson.
In Ontario, CA, he owned and operated Pro Radiator Shop and coached youth soccer and baseball. He attended Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga, CA where he studied music and mechanics.
In 1983 the family moved back to Monticello where he worked for Schafer Auto until 2007 and began working for Case Equipment as Heavy Equipment Manager in Durango, CO until his illness in 2011.
He was respected for his compassion and was dedicated to the service of others.
Glen lived his life with simple pleasures, ie: fishing, carpentry, photography, playing his guitar, and restoring vehicles.
He was a modern day Merlin when it came to anything with four wheels, an engine, or a block of wood.
He taught his children to be self reliant and the value of hard work and service.
His favorite childhood memories were training homing pigeons and working on the ranch.
Glen is survived by his wife De Jackson; son Jason Jackson; daughter Jennifer Clark and her husband, Mike, of South Jordan, UT; daughter Candi-Joy Hawkins and husband Hoyt of Blanding; five sisters; one brother; several nieces and nephews; and 10 grandchildren.
There will be no services. Per his wishes, the family gathered to have a Celebration of Life at Lake Powell prior to his demise.
The family is grateful for the condolences, but declines flowers and donations.
