Mary Louise Gilliland Bright

Our dear Mary died tragically in an automobile accident.
She is preceded in death by her husband Leroy J. Bright; her parents Hugh and Bernice Gilliland; brothers James A. Gilliland, Charles L. Gilliland, and Glenn E. Gilliland.
She is survived by a brother Robert H. Gilliland; sisters Leona J. Taylor, Alice E. Curtis, Jessie L. Myers; children James Leroy (Debbie) Bright, Timothy Dean (Beth) Bright, Lee Ann (Daniel) Gutierrez, Linda Gail (Don) Braithwaite, and Nancy Louise (George) Guerrero; 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in August, 1941 and faithfully served her God, Jehovah, for over 70 years.
Mary had a full and satisfying life and enjoyed sharing the many wonderful things about the Creator and his beautiful creation with her children and grandchildren. She was encouraging and up building to all who knew her, and enjoyed sharing her knowledge freely with anyone who would listen.
Later in life, she enjoyed travelling with her family, especially to Peru where she shared her faith and made many friends. She was loved and cherished by her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all.
Graveside services were held Friday September 9, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Moab.
