Marilyn Jane Stott Musselman

Marilyn Jane Stott Musselman, 68, died at her home at Roughlock, UT on Tuesday, August 23 after a battle with cancer.
Jane was born on December 6, 1942 to Grant Edwin Stott and Helen Chloe Greenhalgh in Salt Lake City, UT.
Jane was the oldest of five children, and is survived by her brothers Glen Stott, Gerald Stott, Wayne Stott and her sister Shirley Pappin. Jane graduated from South High School in 1961, and earned a degree from LDS Business College. Jane was married to Robert William Musselman on December 11, 1976 at Roughlock, UT.
Jane was a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. In 1979, Marilyn Jane became employed as a Federal Magistrate Court Clerk. She worked for Bennion Redd for 28 years before retiring on March 29, 2007.
In addition to her brothers and sister, Jane is survived by her husband Bob Musselman; mother Helen Stott; and her children, Stacy (Kevin) Johnson, Sherry Musselman (Brian Sherman), David (Pamela) Musselman, Shane (Melody) Musselman, JR (Christine) Musselman and BobbyJane (Jerrod) Gregory.
Jane was very proud of her six children, 30 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and was eagerly expecting the arrival of the seventh.
Services were held at Monticello North LDS Chapel for Jane. Interment at the Roughlock Cemetery on Monday, August 29.
Jane was a woman of remarkable talents, She was a gifted seamstress and had a passion for scrapbooking, gardening, and photography.
She always had a camera in her hand and saw opportunity for a scrapbook page in everything around her.
Jane was commonly known to all children as “Grandma Jane”, which title she bore with love and affection and was manifested by frequent sleep overs on the trampoline, treasure hunts, long long walks, and hours of board games. She was a magnet for children.
Jane would leave this world having truly lived. She dabbled in sky diving, race car driving, skiing, scuba diving, and modeling, but she will be remembered most for her “giving”.
She gave all she had, all the time, to all in need. Jane made all people she came in contact with desire to be better. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
