Lewis James Calvert

Lewis James Calvert went home to see the Lord September 28, 2014 with family by his side in Salt lake City, UT.
Lewis was born to Fallice and Olive Calvert May 13, 1940 in Maryville, MO.
He grew up in Nebraska on his grandparents farm, then later moved to Limon, CO, where he grew up and lived until he left for military service in Germany in 1960.
Lewis served in Germany until he was discharged for a medical emergency at home, where he came to help with his father and mother with the family.
Lewis started work in Bueno Vista, CO, where he met the love of his life Edris Frizzell. They were married on August 22, 1964 in Limon, CO.
They lived on the family farm in Eastland, UT and had two children, Shelly Dawn Calvert and Russell Todd Calvert.
Lewis has one grandson, Ronald Lee Gobble Jr. and a great-granddaughter, Elaina Gobble.
Lewis loved life to the fullest, with hunting, trapping, mining, farming, racing cars and whatever else he may conjure up.
Lewis will be missed by many.
He is survived by a sister, Nancy Hollowell; brothers Fal Calvert and Jimmy Calvert; daughter, Shelley Calvert (Wayne); son Todd Calvert (Desi); grandson Ronald Gobble; great-granddaughter Elaina Gobble.
Lewis is preceded in death by his parents, Fallice Calvert and Olive Norbye Calvert; sister LaWanda Calvert; and wife Edris Frizzell Calvert.
