Kristopher Ozzie Trujillo June 28, 1978 ~ December 14, 2025

Kristopher Ozzie Trujillo was born June 28, 1978 In Monticello, UT to Michele Black and Ozzie Trujillo.  He passed away in Herriman UT on December 14, 2025 after a long courageous battle with Colorectal Cancer. He was 47.
Growing up in Monticello, he loved to play outside with his best friend Adam.  They could always be found riding their big wheels down the street to his Papa and Grams house.  
They loved to go to Adam’s Grandma Dorothys to look in the Hidey Hole in her backyard where the Brownie would leave treats for them to find.  
When he was 10 years old, they moved to St. George, UT where he started fifth grade. He was the first graduating class from Snow Canyon High School. He graduated from Dixie College in 1998 with an Associate of Science Degree.
He met and married Emily Gibson on November 2, 1996.  They had four children: Treven, Aidan, Chayton and Kyrie.  They were later divorced but remained friends until his death.
Kris loved the outdoors.  He loved camping and fishing with his boys, boating at Lake Powell with his friends, snowboarding, mountain biking with his friends and his son Treven.
He was an excellent programmer and worked several years as a Software Architect for Accela in San Jose, CA. He was the founder and CEO of “Velosimo” which grew into a large company.
He won the Government Integration Solutions of the year in 2024 and was featured on the cover of govCIO Outlook magazine.
Kristopher is survived by his children Treven of South Jordan, Aidan of Midvale, Chayton of Herriman and Kyrie of Herriman, parents Michele and James Stewart of St. George, Ozzie and Diana Trujillo of Price, ex-wife Emily Morrison of Herriman, sisters Maegan (Dan) Belmont, Ashley (Aaron) Heaton, Jennafre (Davis) Anderson and Courtney (Randy) Jones, brothers Skylar Stewart and Kellen (McKayla) Trujillo.  
He is proceeded in death by his grandparents Paul and Jannett Black, Wilson and Ruby Trujillo, and cousins Brandon Duncan and Raymond Sanchez.
His service will be held on Saturday, December 20 at Larkin Mortuary, 3688 West 12600 South, in Riverton, UT. Viewing from 4 to 5 pm, and celebration of life from 5 to 6:30 pm.
Burial will be at the Herriman Cemetery at a later date.
