Kevin “Ken” Connaughton

November 22, 1941 ~ April 18, 2012
“Most obituaries begin with a recitation of the decedent’s donations to the community. This will begin with the community’s donations to the decedent.
“This life has given me more than I ever deserved.
“This constitutes a list of some of what I have accumulated over seven decades: a near perfect wife, four fantastic and successful children, and an exciting career that was challenging and interesting at every turn.
“Media and politics were made all the more enjoyable by the people it has been my good fortune to meet, to enjoy, and to appreciate.
“My one complaint would be that life has not gone long enough, but my wife and children have taken care of that eventuality by providing me with a raft of grandchildren who will carry on into future generations. I love them all very much.
“I am grateful for my warm and loving family, who provided a strong push in the right direction and consistently firm guidance whenever needed. God bless them and carry them forward into the future.
“Adios”
