Kerry Scott Black

Our loving husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away May 2, 2017.
Kerry was born in Monticello, UT on July 10, 1960 to Keith W. Black and Colleen Harris Black.
He married his high school sweetheart, Kristine Beeson Black, on August 3, 1979.
Kerry graduated from San Juan High School in 1978. Kerry and his dad ran KB Oil Co., Causeway Texaco and Pronto C-store in Blanding, UT.
He then started his own oil distributing company for the oil fields and then went to work for Western Gas Resources.
In 1999, he moved his family to West Jordan, UT to help run Central Plumbing’s office when he later bought the company and ran it until the time of his death.
His family meant everthing to him. He is survived by his wife Kristine Black, son Mason (Marissa) Black, son Ian (Riki) Black, five grandchildren, Krue, Alivia, Milo, Maddison and Finch; mother Colleen Black; and brother Randy Black.
He is preceded in death by his father Keith W. Black; brother Kent Black; and sister Carla C. Black.
A gathering for family and friends will be held on Saturday, May 13 at 10 a.m. followed by the funeral services at 11 a.m. at the Highland Sixth Ward Chapel, 10115 So. Yorkshire Drive, South Jordan, UT.
Kerry is loved beyond measure and will be missed.
