Keith Cauley

August 23, 1942 ~ August 22, 2021

Keith Cauley was born on August 23, 1942 in Ingleside, TX to Marjorie and Edward Cauley. He passed away on August 22, 2021 in Blanding, UT.

Keith grew up in Kingsville, TX with the King Ranch boys. He went to college and earned a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from the Texas College of Arts and Industries.

He started several corporations in Texas, including introducing class rings into jewelry stores and pioneering limited edition prints.

He moved to Fresno, CA to work for Kaiser Permanente, where he built athletic equipment. He was the marketing director of Forced Air and created a new corporation with Dennis Kaiser.

In Fresno, Keith met and married Dee Oliver in 1984. They have been married for 37 years.

Keith and Dee worked together to manage estates for some of the wealthiest people on earth, including a 10,000-acre ranch between Gunnison and Montrose, CO.

During that time, they hiked and explored the Canyon Country and decided to retire in the area.

They developed many great friendships during numerous trips to the area, often staying at the Four Corners Inn in Blanding, owned by Lawrence and Shari Guymon.

Dee and Keith moved to Monticello in September 2006, where they spent the subsequent 15 years.

A memorial service for Keith will be held in coming months. Stay tuned for the announcement.
