Justin Andrew Peterson April 27, 1971 ~ October 25, 2024

Justin Andrew Peterson stepped through to the next life on Friday October 25, 2024.
He succumbed to injuries he received in a motorcycle accident. Justin was born on April 27, 1971 to Andy and Aleta Peterson.
He grew up in Grand Junction, Colorado until he was 14 years old when the family moved to Monticello Utah where he attended and graduated from Monticello High School in 1989.
After graduation he moved back to Grand Junction and eventually became the Journeyman Plumber and Pipefitter that he did the rest of his life.
He loved this career and was always posting pictures of fancy toilets on his Facebook page.
He was passionate about everything he did in his life, but dirt bike riding was something he LIVED for. From the young age of 5 years old until the end he loved riding trails. He competed in several desert races starting when he was only 15 years old. He rode the trail at Lake Powell called the “Mormon Trail” several times with his family as a teenager and many other difficult, challenging trails as an adult.
He was an avid outdoorsman his entire life. Hunting, fishing, hiking, scuba diving, water skiing and camping was where you could find him every minute he was not working.
Justin was a rare person who extended love and friendship to so many people. He was a fantastic father who taught his boys a deep love for the outdoors.
He vibrated with the passion of living and everyone around him could feel it when he entered the room. His smile, his jokes, his laughter, his energy was something that is going to be missed terribly.
Justin is survived by his sons Jorem, Torin, and Josiah, parents Andy and Aleta, sister’s Tama and Nikki, grandmother Phyllis Bollan, and too many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews too list.
A Celebration of Life for Justin Peterson will be at 11:00 am Thursday, October 31st at Plumber Pipe Fitters Union Hall
