Gary L. Swanson

Gary L. Swanson, born March 11, 1940 to Leonard and Helen Swanson in Genoa, NE died October 12, 2012 in Salt Lake City, UT.    
Gary graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1963 with a degree in mechanical engineering.  
Gary and Bonnie were married on June 18, 1966.  
He worked for several companies across the country before retiring in 2003.  He loved spending time with his family.  
He enjoyed outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, and visiting National Parks.  
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; sons Kenton (Sandy), Nathan (Ashley), and Jaymon (Erin); and granddaughters Lauryn and Aubrey.  
He was receded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Mountain View Memorial located at 3115 East 7800 South, Cottonwood Heights, UT.  Viewing at 1 p.m., services at 2 p.m.
