Floyd R. Bleak


November 22, 1933 ~ February 16, 2014
Floyd R. Bleak, 80, of Queen Creek died peacefully at home on Sunday, February 16, 2014. He was born in Fort Thomas, AZ on November 22, 1933 to Charles and Irene Bleak.
He married the love of his life, Clyda, on June 22, 1951. Their marriage was solemnized in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Manti Temple in 1974.
Floyd and his family spent their years together in Blanding, UT; Flagstaff; Mesa and settling in Queen Creek.
Floyd cherished his family above all else. He will be remembered for his unconditional love and unforgettable life stories.
As a family we are comforted to know that he was greeted with open arms in joyous celebration by his loved ones who met him at heaven’s door.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, two daughters, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Floyd is survived by his wife Clyda of 62 years; five children, Kathleen Schuler and husband Rick of Flagstaff; Sheila Hills of Mesa; Daniel Bleak and wife Audrean of Mesa; Donalyn Adragna and husband Danny of Mesa; Carolyn Gibson and husband Terryl of Queen Creek; twenty-one grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services held Friday, February 21, 2014 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Center in Queen Creek. Burial at the Mesa City Cemetery located at 1212 North Center Street, Mesa, AZ.
