Longtime Bluff residents, Gene and Mary Foushee passed away in Tucson, AZ on July 24, 2017 and August 2, 2017, respectively.
To all who knew and loved them, it was no surprise that they left this world within days of each other.
They are survived by their children, Marybeth and Geno, and granddaughters, Melissa, Ruthe, and Nina.
A memorial service will be held in Bluff on Sunday, October 29 at 11 a.m. overlooking the San Juan River at Gold Mine Access Overlook by the Bluff Airport.
In honor of their love of picnics, a potluck memorial picnic will follow immediately at the same location which was one of their favorite picnic spots.
Please bring chairs and your favorite potluck dish. Plates, utensils and drinks will be provided. Please bring musical instruments; Mary and Gene loved music!
In the event of bad weather, the alternate location will be the Bluff Community Center.
