Diane LaNeve Thompson Kemner

Diane LaNeve Thompson Kemner was born June 6, 1944 in Moab, UT to Shirley Omer Thompson and LaNeve Johnson Thompson. She was the fifth of eight children in this family.
Diane was raised in Monticello where she graduated from high school in 1962.
Diane married Paul George Kemner in Dolores, CO on February 7, 1963. In 1982 they moved to Blanding, UT where they resided together until Paul’s death in 2012.
She was a school bus driver for 34 years and later worked for Utah State University in the trucking school.
She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was grateful for her callings. She had a firm testimony of her Savior and the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Diane passed away December 18, 2015 in Blanding, UT surrounded by a loving family and friends.
She is survived by her children Paul (Laura), Launa Armstrong, and Lorine (Dwayne) Schocknmyer; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; five brothers and two sisters.
She was preceeded in death by her husband, Paul; her grandson, Lucas Piccoli; and her son-in-law, Charles Armstrong.
Services will be held on January 2, 2016 at 10 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 260 South Main in Blanding. Interment at Blanding Cemetery following.
