Clyde “Skip” Lovitt

Clyde “Skip” Lovitt, 76, passed away at his home in Ness City, KS on October 19.
Clyde was born on June 10, 1937 in Sabetha, KS to Charles and Frances Campfield Lovitt.
He was a horse trader for many years.
On November 7, 1958, he married Marion Christensen of Monticello, UT.
Clyde is survived by his wife Marion, sons Jay Clyde (Laura) Lovitt, of Columbia, SC; Corey (Tammy) Bradford, of Sun City, CA; Tracy (Sabenna) Leavitt, of Hemet, CA; daughter Diana Lovitt, of Linwood, WA; brothers Richard Charles Lovitt, of Bakersfield, CA; John Robert (Diane) Lovitt, of Pleasanton, CA; sisters Jo Lovitt, of Ness City, KS; Sue (Chuck) Schlottach, of Pueblo, CO; 11 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by a son, Charles Ray Lovitt, and a daughter, Melissa Jo Lovitt.
Graveside service was held October 23 at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery in WaKeeney.
