Clyda Conway Palmer January 23, 1929 ~ August 27, 2026
Clyda Conway Palmer was born January 23, 1929 to Cecil Marr Conway and Inez Nielson Conway in Bluff, UT. She grew up in Bluff and had a wonderful childhood there.
Later the family moved to Blanding so she could attend high school. She graduated from San Juan High School in 1947.
She married LaVan Palmer in July, 1947. Later the marriage was sealed in the Manti Temple.
Together they raised seven children: Terry (Cami), Taylor (Jenice). Sandy (Boyd), Susan (Larry), Steve (Jill), Becky (Neil Joslin), and David.
She has 29 grandchildren, 95 great grandchildren and 34 great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband LaVan Palmer, son Taylor Palmer, sons-in-law Boyd Laws and Larry Lee, and great grandchildren Jordan Black, Tyler Palmer and Kendra Morgan.
Clyda was very active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was also actively involved in several family businesses.
The family would like to express their gratitude to all her caregivers, and to those who showed her love and support the past few years.
Funeral services will be Friday, September 4 at noon at the Blanding Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Viewing from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
