Born January 16, 1947 in Salt Lake City, UT to Parley Vincent Redd and Reva Vickers Redd-Bailey.
He graduated from San Juan High School and received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Brigham Young University.
He met and married his sweet wife, Cathy Mihlberger Redd, in the Salt Lake City Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on May 28, 1975. They had a special bond and were able to share a sweet life of work and service together.
He was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served honorably in the Southern Far East Mission. He had an amazing gift to always make others feel comfortable, welcome and like the most important person in the room.
