“Whether she was catching multiple games in a doubleheader or leading the defense through high-pressure situations, Gemma has proven herself to be a valuable part of the team.
“Gemma has also made great progress in the short time I have had with her. Her skills are not just limited to catching. She has proven to be a strong batter as well. I am excited for what the next two years will bring with her.”
