The annual Blanding Fall Festival is back this weekend with fun for the entire family at Centennial Park. Games, dancing and a community dinner all make up a day of fun on Saturday September 13.
The Fall Festival kicks off at 11:00 am Saturday morning with three-on-three basketball and cornhole tournaments with prizes to the winners. You can sign-up on the city website.
The festival starts in earnest at Noon on Saturday with vendor booths, face painting, bouncy houses, a touch a truck event and more for families.
Starting at 1:00 pm there will be prize drawings every half hour throughout the event.
1:30 pm is the Minute-to-win-it games, sign up online for a chance to compete.
The afternoon fun continues at 2:00 with Karaoke singing, a spikeball tournament and barrel racing on a stick horse.
Square dancing is also up at 3 p.m.
The event concludes with a community dinner, with the city recommending you get your tickets early. Shortly after the dinner will be s’mores treats and a community bonfire.
Over 20 craft and food vendors will also be at the event to add more opportunities for fun.
