Two-car crash on Hwy 191 kills three

Three people were killed in a two-car crash on Highway 191 at approximately 4:15 p.m. on August 3.

According to the Utah Highway Patrol, a Ford F-150 was traveling southbound at mile marker 93, 23 miles north of Monticello, when it veered into the northbound lane.

It hit a Ford Expedition which was towing an 18-foot boat.

The two occupants of the Expedition received fatal injuries from the crash and died on scene. They are 75-year-old Kenneth Harding and 73-year-old Frances Harding, both of Goodman AZ.

The front passenger of the F-150, 68-year-old Patricia Storm of Minot, ND, also received fatal injuries and died on scene.

The driver of the F-150 was flown to St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction, CO, in critical condition.

All occupants of the two vehicles were wearing seat belts. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
