New pet store in Monticello

The Pet Hideout is San Juan County’s newest business. Owner John Claspell said the new business will offer a full range of pets and pet products from the office at 165 West 100 North in Monticello.
Pets for sale include ferrets (pictured), a host of rodents including chinchillas, hamsters, mice and rats, birds, tropical fish, turtles, snakes and spiders. Cats and dogs can be ordered.
In addition, a host of pets supplies is available, including aquariums, cages, food and more.
The Pet Hideout is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
