Nathan Chamberlain

Hello! My name is Nathan Chamberlain and I have served this community as a city councilman for the past few years and would love to continue serving.
I have been a resident of Monticello for the past 14 years. You may best know me as the shop teacher, driver ed instructor, and golf coach at Monticello High School.
I grew up in a small town of less than 300 people and love what small towns can do for each other. I have seen this wonderful community rally behind many great causes: collecting a million pennies, building a new clinic, and investing in a new senior citizen center and pro-shop that matches the quality of our Hideout Golf Course.
Each of these events were made possible by the the effort and determination of the great citizens of our area.  We may be a small town, but we have a lot of heart and great people to keep it going! There are many who put in hours and share their talents to push this city into the next phase of growth.
We are experiencing new challenges that require time and commitment to research the options and make the decisions that are in the best interest of the community. I will continue to listen to you and bring your concerns to the council to hopefully provide solutions that we all can agree on. Your vote is your future, make it count.
