Monument Valley youth appointed to Navajo Youth Advisory Council

Yanabah Smith of Oljato-Monument Valley, was recently appointed and confirmed as the Western Agency representative to the Navajo Nation Youth Advisory Council. In this role, Smith will serve as an advocate for Navajo youth and work alongside fellow council members to address issues impacting young people across the Navajo Nation. In addition to serving as Navajo Nation Veterans Princess 2025-2026, Smith continues to participate in youth leadership and community service efforts across her community.
