Monticello needs park decoration volunteers

The Monticello Parks and Beautification Committee needs assistance from city residents to help with a beloved holiday tradition.
Volunteers will put up Christmas lights in Veterans Memorial Park from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, November 8. The park is on the corner of Main Street and Center Street in the heart of town.
The Community Gingerbread House Tour takes place at local businesses from December 1 to 12.
Mark your calendars for the Christmas Light Parade on Thursday, December 18 at 7 p.m.
