Monticello Elementary School trip to Utah State Capitol

Fifth grade students from Monticello Elementary School catch up on the local news while reading the San Juan Record at the Utah State Capitol building. The students earned the right to travel to Salt Lake City after completing a host of requirements, including memorizing the entire Gettysburg Address. They were scheduled to meet Utah Governor John Huntsman, but the Governor’s shoulder surgery caused a change in plans.
