Let it rain, let it rain

As we head into the month of November, precipitation numbers reveal that Blanding received more precipitation in the month of October than it received throughout the course of the previous 12 months.
The drastic increase of of rain and snow in October is a much-needed change.
Blanding received 4.02 inches of precipitation in the month of October compared with 3.54 inches through the entire previous water year.
The newly-incorporated town of Bluff received a similar amount of moisture during the month of October, recording 2.09 inches of precipitation.
Like Blanding, Bluff received more in the month of October than its 2.08 inches recorded over the previous 12 months.
Monticello received 4.37 inches of precipitation during October, adding to 8.48 inches of moisture received throughout the previous 12 months.
The historic averages for October precipitation is .96 inches in Blanding, .94 in Bluff and 1.71 inches in Monticello.
