60th anniversary

On August 11, James and Neva Lyman will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary by having a small family gathering at Pioneer Park on South Main street from 2-4 p.m. Family and friends are welcome to drop by to wish them well.

James Stuart Lyman was born October 3, 1937 and his beautiful bride Neva Rae Edwards was born January 9, 1942. They were married in Monticello, Utah and sealed in the Mesa Arizona Temple.

James and Neva are lovingly devoted to their four children, 11 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and are thrilled to have three more on the way.

Their lives exemplify service to the LDS church including a Spanish Speaking Temple Mission in Santiago, Chile. After spending 25 years in Alaska, they are now retired and reside in Monticello to be close to family.
