Please shop locally when you can

It would be a shame if two of the big “winners” in the COVID-19 crisis are Amazon and WalMart.
While many local businesses have been shuttered or slowed for weeks, these giants were open for business 24/7, with unlimited resources, active websites, and what some consider to be predatory pricing.
Small Mom and Pop shops across the country (and around the county) have hunkered down and hoped for the best during the crisis, wondering when they could return to work.
I hope one of the outcomes of this crisis is an increased appreciation and support for the friends and neighbors who operate local retail businesses.
Here through thick and thin (and thinner and thinest), they will be anxious to see a return to business.
Shop locally, or you may not be able to shop locally!
