“Giants in San Juan” series

We are beginning a series of articles honoring the men and woman who contributed to pioneering San Juan County.

We have sought a number of nominations for the series. The only criteria is that they be deceased and that they had lived in San Juan County.

As of April 21, 138 people have been suggested for our list. The number of “votes” each nominee receives will help determine our final list.

These features will appear over the next two years, as space allows. At the end of the series, a book is planned.
